This year has been my busiest yet thanks to everyone who recommended me I now have 25 reviews left on my site from my 100’s of customers I have helped since 2007. Have had a very busy weekend so far most my customers are by word of mouth. I have decided for the time being not to offer laptop DC jack repair in my experience so long as the jack is soldered onto the motherboard and does not wiggle it does not need to be replaced. You would be better off saving the money and biting the bullet and putting the money towards a new laptop. I can see some very good Dell Inspiron 1545 including moving all your data across for £450

Notice to all customers pc-healer.co.uk will be my main domain (website) pc-healer.com will re-direct to this (but in the long term I plan to stop using the latter as I am getting to many USA users. I believe many people associate .com with USA and .co.uk with the UK so the choice was obvious to make. Also pchealer.co.uk will re-direct to pc-healer.co.uk. My long term plan is to only have pchealer.co.uk but this is not possible at the moment.

We have fixed a problem with the javascript menu so now all pages have a menu selection when you click on the home button. We have also added product pictures of computers which we sell.

The site www.pchealer.co.uk now redirects to my website (thanks to the owner Rob for doing this) I shall be updating the website to accommodate for this as soon as a can. The reason for doing this was because I believe most people associate .com with an American website and also not many people remember to use a - in an email or website address.
Also I have just found this really good review website 'alaTest UK i' it works by collecting many reviews from other review sites and giving you overall review percentage of the item. So if you are looking to buy almost anything take a look here and see what other people have said about it first! I shall add this to me links page too.

Windows 7 was released yesterday and it is highly recommend. It is a lot faster and lot easier to use that Windows Vista if you are a home user and have had enough of Vista you will like it. I have now in stock several versions of Windows 7 Home Premium and can do a clean re-install of Windows for you. For more information watch this below a video review:

I am in the process of talking to the owner of pchealer.co.uk I believe this will be an easier domain for my customers to remember and looks more professional I will keep both domains active for the time being though if all goes well.

Windows 7 is being released worldwide on the 22nd October 2009. Unless you have been living in a cave you will more than likely of heard how bad Windows Vista is. Windows 7 is what Vista should have been, i.e. very fast, responsive, safe and cheaper. I have been using it for about a year now and can confirm it is all of the above. Of course you don’t have to upgrade to Windows 7 but if you are thinking your old Windows XP or Vista machine is too slow it is highly recommend. Phone me if you are interested in giving your computer or laptop the upgrade it is really asking for!

Microsoft are not all that bad recently they have released a free Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware application called 'Microsoft Security Essentials' if is light weight and won't slow your computer down and offers real-time protection you can download it for FREE by clicking here.
I get a lot of people emailing me asking for work sorry to sound rude but please don't as I am a sole trader for a reason. If you want to get into IT support you should try to get some kind of certification like an MCSE.

Two people arranged to drop off there laptops to me today neither turned up! I wish some people would understand that I am running a business and time waiting for them I could be fixing another computer. On a lighter note I am in the process of moving my invoicing system online this will mean I can provide much more professional invoices , Estimates or quotes I can even provide them around a customers house!
I must highly recommend Free Agent Central if you are a small business like mine you will know it is not fun trying to run invoices from MS World and Spreadsheets in Excel. This software is all online and is very easy to use and allows you to manage your businesses finances it is a lot easier to use then Sage or Microsoft Accounting Pro. Yes I do get 10% discount if you sign up after clicking on the below link but so do you.

I have noticed PC World have updated there prices again you can see there prices here: http://www.thetechguys.com/services/ they are charging £19.99 for a memory upgrade but they say it takes them an hour to do this amazing for a 5 minute job!

Have decided to create a Facebook page to create my awareness, link will be added soon. Have fixed problem with banner showing to large set to auto width seems so obvious now. Have been playing around with a new content management system plan to upgrade the site at some point it will alow me to upgrade the site a lot more often and add more to it like a shopping cart of forum.

I am currently working full time from home so feel free to phone me office hours. I have updated the logo on the website and integrated it into the banner. I have also updated the products page to show you what software is included with my computers. I plan to fix my contact page next in the long term I plan to upgrade the website to a content management system this means I can update it a lot quicker and it will look better.
